About Amoakwa-Boadu
She is the Human Resource Director of JL Properties. In this capacity, she develops corporate HR plans, supports the human factor within the company, oversees HR initiatives, and ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations. Her core responsibilities include recruitment and interviewing of qualified personnel, orientation and training, conflict resolution, evaluating employee productivity, and safeguarding the company from regulatory sanctions. She also supervises HR personnel, manages employment relations, and analyzes data to report on HR metrics for informed decision-making.
Before joining JL Properties, she worked as the Project Coordinator for the SA-IBS project (a Danida-funded initiative) for five years. In this role, she liaised with local government representatives, partner agencies, and the IBS management in Denmark. She had oversight responsibility for staffing and training, as well as ensuring the successful implementation of the project. She holds an Executive MBA in Human Resource Management from the University of Ghana Business School, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from GIMPA, a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management awarded by the University of Cape Coast, and a diploma in Business Studies (Accounting) from the Institute of Professional Studies (IPS). Additionally, she holds a certificate in Marketing from CIM-UK. She is a full member of the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners (CIHRM) of Ghana and a member of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).
Highly motivated and organized, she is results-oriented and passionate about empowering others through her leadership in human resource management.
