" JL Properties' Corporate Social Responsibility: Commissioning the J. O. Lindsay Emergency Block "

At JL Properties, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve. On Thursday, the staff of the Okaikwei North Municipal Assembly, along with other dignitaries, gathered to commission the J. O. Lindsay Emergency Block at the Achimota Government Hospital. This twenty-bed facility, constructed by the Corporate Social Wing of JL Properties, is poised to fulfill the medical needs of the people in the Municipality and beyond.

Costing $4 million, the facility boasts separate male, female, and children wards, each fully equipped with 1,400 surgical gowns, three oxygen concentrators, 25 boxes of protective equipment, and nine UV trolleys. The commissioning ceremony was graced by Dr. James Orleans-Lindsay, Chairman of JL Properties, who emphasized the importance of giving back to the community where success is found.

Dr. Lindsay expressed his hope that this gesture would inspire other businesses in the locality to contribute their quota to augment government efforts in driving growth and development. He urged the hospital management to adopt efficient and effective management practices to prolong the life of the facility.

Former Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. David Okoe, highlighted the challenges faced by the former hospital, including a lack of essential equipment and separate wards for different patient demographics. He expressed optimism that the new facility would significantly enhance the hospital's capacity to handle emergency cases.

Stephen Pambiin Jalulah, the Deputy Roads Minister, conveyed a message on behalf of the Minister, promising consideration for road improvements around Achimota Hospital. He stressed the importance of collaboration between the government and private bodies in national development.

Representing the Municipal Chief Executive, Honourable Boye Laryea, Mr. Rexford Frimpong, the Personal Assistant, led a delegation to the event, which was also attended by local Chiefs and hospital staff.

At JL Properties, we are committed to making a positive impact in the communities we serve. The commissioning of the J. O. Lindsay Emergency Block underscores our dedication to corporate social responsibility and our belief in the power of collective efforts to drive meaningful change
